The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is a 2002 epic fantasy film directed by Peter Jackson based on the second volume of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings (1954–1955). It is the second installment in The Lord of the Rings film series, and was proceeded by The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) and succeeded by The Return of the King (2003), based on the first and third volumes of The Lord of the Rings.
It was released in Indian theaters on March 28, 2003. Two Hindi dubs have been produced. One in 2003 that came for cinema and for home media and another one for UTV Action during Christmas of 2011 produced in-house by UTV Software Communications.
